m = months, Y = years.

Needles: US 3/ 3.25mm, or size to obtain gauge, in 16′′/ 40cm and 24′′/ 60cm circular, and 9′′/ 23cm circular or DPNs for sleeves; US 2/ 2.75mm, 0.5mm smaller than gauge needle, for collar, hem, and cuffs.

Gauge: 26 sts and 34 rnds = 4′′/ 10cm stockinette stitch. 


Yarn: fingering weight:

Short sleeves: 200 (240, 290, 310, 380) [500, 570, 660, 770] yards / 183 (219, 265, 283, 347) [457, 521, 604, 704] meters; or
