Needles: US 5 / 3.75mm or size to obtain gauge, and US 3 / 3.25mm or 2 US sizes / 0.5mm smaller than gauge needle; both in 16 - 22” / 40 - 55cm circular needles.

Gauge: 23 sts and 25 rnds = 4” / 10cm in Friends motifs.

Yarn: DK weight:

MC: 320 yards / 294 meters;

CC1 (brown): 40 yards / 37 meters;

CC2 (red): 80 yards / 74 meters;

CC3 (orange): 40 yards / 37 meters; and

CC4 (yellow): 40 yards / 37 meters.
