Romance on the Rocks is a fun and fast garter stitch asymmetrical shawl with delicate accents of mohair. It’s a great knitting pattern for beginners, social knitting, or binge-watching.

Size: 15 x 85"/ 38 x 216cm, or as desired.

Needles: US 5/ 3.75mm or size to obtain gauge; circular, at least 24”/ 60cm.

Gauge: 21 sts x 46.5 rows = 4"/ 10cm over garter stitch, lightly blocked.

Gauge is not crucial but differences will affect yardage and finished dimensions.

Yarn: fingering weight: 800 yards/ 734 meters; and lace weight: 50 yards/ 46 meters.

Notions: 1 removable stitch marker, tapestry needle.
