Ornithology is the study of birds and the inspiration behind the colorway collection used for Sideshow. Knit top-down as a classic raglan-style pullover initially, all bets are off once you reach the sleeve divide. Side panels are worked in intarsia with four colors each; you can use the same four colors on each side or use eight colors in total. Reminiscent of the Big Top circus tent, Sideshow is a showstopper.

Sizes: 32.75 (36.75, 40.75, 44.75, 48.75, 52.75, 56.75, 60.75, 64.75)”/ 82 (92, 102, 112, 122, 132, 142, 152, 162)cm finished bust circumference; to be worn with 4”/ 10cm of positive ease.

Needles: US 6/4.0mm or size to obtain gauge in 16”/ 40cm, 32”/ 80cm and 40”/ 100cm circulars and DPNs (for sleeves); and US 4/3.5mm or two sizes smaller than gauge needle in 16”/ 40cm and 40”/ 100cm circulars and DPNs (for sleeves).

Gauge: 20 sts and 30 rnds = 4”/10cm over Stockinette stitch.

Yarn: dk weight in MC and 8 CC’s: 1000 (1125, 1250, 1438, 1650, 1900, 2187, 2515, 2895) yards/ 941 (1059, 1177, 1354, 1553, 1788, 2058, 2367, 2725) meters MC; 65 yards/ 62 meters each of CC1 and CC5; 38 yards/ 36 meters each of CC2, CC3, CC4, CC6, CC7, CC8.

Notions: stitch markers, scrap yarn and/or stitch holders or spare needle cords, tapestry needle.
